Terrible Trio » GD-ASIA has fabricated connections between unrelated anomalies and Kabushiki Kawaii in order to expand their authority.
Those in the role of GD-ASIA have a bad track record of using anomalies and other incidents as justification for expanding their authority and the independence of ASIACOM starting in 2001 with the Anomalous Trafficking Agreement and the 2015 Seoul Conference.
Recently, the expanded operations of Kabushiki Kawaii and other hostile organizations in the region have been met with appropriate funding increases and increased executive power. However, several incidents were connected to GoI activity that likely were unrelated, but it is believed ASIACOM staff are making these connections in order to legitimatize further independence and authority. Some of these connections were made using data suspected to be from ACI records that were not authorized to Hotel-11.
More worryingly, GD-ASIA is becoming increasingly zealous about their role in mitigating anomalous activity, oftentimes overstepping their role and making deals with agencies such as the PCAAO that are in the interest of the "greater good" but not in line with Presidium instruction. Some Global Directors are supportive of their decisions due to results, but if this GoI fraudulence came to light, it would delegitimize their efforts and might even see them removed from power.
