Citadels, containment castles, and Sanctums, holy buildings and locations, are utilized to protect Catholic artifacts and contain dangerous entities from harming the faithful.

Facility Designations

Designation	Description
Citadel	Agency bases, military castles, and other stand-alone facilities used to store supernatural phenomena. Citadels may also have holding cells for heretical Persons of Interest and weapons storage.
Dungeon	Containment rooms reserved for the storage of demonic and other unknown phenomena in Citadels. Only in incredibly rare instances are dungeons located near Sanctums, and only for neutralization purposes.
Sanctum	Church buildings, pilgrimage sites, and other holy locations are used to house sacred relics and other holy artifacts. Sanctums may also be used for non-supernatural purposes as well.
Vault	Containment rooms reserved for the storage of sacred phenomena in Sanctums. Some vaults may be found in Citadels that contain multiple categories of supernatural phenomena.

Classification Index

T he Primacy uses a variety of classifications in order to catalog supernatural phenomena. This information assists the agency in containment efforts, as well as potential use cases an anomaly may provide to the Roman Papacy. One of the six military orders are assigned responsibility for protecting the agency's supernatural objects based on their specialization.

Sanction Ranks

Ranks	Description
LAITY	Access to the anomaly is available to any ordained members of the Catholic Church. Sacred relics are often classified under this sanction if the general public can access them.
MAGISTERIUM	Access to the anomaly is available for any VSSP personnel. Demonic phenomena is automatically classified under this sanction, as well as more dangerous relics.
CATHEDRA	Access to the anomaly is restricted to the VSSP Prelates and the Bishop of Rome. Direct approval from the Pope is required for all personnel below this ranking.

DIMT-(0-5)	Dimensional	Any supernatural phenomena that is from another dimensional plane or has the power to manipulate the nature of baseline reality.
CHEM-(0-5)	Chemical	Any supernatural phenomena that is chemically based or uses a chemical reaction for its effects.
COGN-(0-5)	Cognitive	Any supernatural phenomena that is activated or transferred through mental cognition or memetic influence.
PHYS-(0-5)	Physical	Any supernatural phenomena that exhibits unnatural durability or non-conformity with the laws of physics.
PATH-(0-5)	Pathogen	Any supernatural phenomena that is a virus or bacterium in nature or can inflict a disease that has anomalous effects or properties.
VITA-(0-5)	Vita	Any supernatural phenomena that is beneficial to the Catholic Church or sanctified in nature. This designation is reserved for utility anomalies.
NULL-(0-5)	Non-Designated	If your VSSP article requires a particular supernatural hazard that is not currently listed, you are free to add one. Make sure to keep it preferably around 4 characters long and add it to this hub.

Power Levels

Power Level	Description
0	The supernatural phenomenon presents no threat to the Primacy or to the Roman Papacy. Utility anomalies are typically classified under this level.
1	The supernatural phenomenon is minimally hazardous to the Primacy or the Papacy. Nominal security procedures will prevent any threat from this anomaly.
2	The supernatural phenomenon is somewhat hazardous to the Primacy or the Papacy. More complex security procedures than usual will be needed to minimize the threat from this anomaly.
3	The supernatural phenomenon is moderately hazardous to the Primacy or the Papacy. Extensive measures need to be taken to reduce the threat of these anomalies from the public.
4	The supernatural phenomenon is dangerously hazardous to the Primacy or the Papacy. The full resources of the VSSP should be used to contain these anomalies that have the power to threaten the Veil or cause widespread devastation.
5	The supernatural phenomenon is catastrophically hazardous to the Primacy or the Papacy. Any anomaly that could wipe out Catholicism from existence, resulting in the eschatological defeat of the Christian God, or abolish the office of the Bishop of Rome is classified under this level.
