Background Information
The Village of Neo Chalkiopoulo, an unveiled community and subsidiary facility of Site-026
Site-026 was established in 1955 in the aftermath of Greece’s post-war reconstruction, a period in which regional authorities began quietly cooperating with Authority-adjacent organizations to manage anomalous populations. Site-026 primarily accommodates low-threat Alpha and Beta-Class humanoid anomalies, as well as select Gamma-Class individuals deemed sufficiently stable for long-term residency.
The site is structured around the long-term supervision, care, and rehabilitation of humanoid anomalies. In addition to providing welfare for adolescent and elderly anomalies, the site serves as a regional administrative hub responsible for assigning, maintaining, and regulating civilian cover identities for both anomalous residents and Authority personnel.
Site-026 encompasses the greater Amfilochia municipality and incorporates several subsidiary facilities distributed throughout the Ambracian Gulf region. These auxiliary sites primarily function as residential wards, administrative outposts, and monitoring stations, working in tandem with the local Greek government.
The town of Amfilochia is categorized as an unveiled community by WESTCOM. As such, a significant portion of the Amfilochia municipality’s civilian population is employed by, contracted to, or otherwise affiliated with the Authority under Level 0 clearance or higher.
Internal Directive – Site Director S. Bechal
Re: Staff Conduct and Anomalous Resident Treatment
I have again been reminded by certain personnel that Site-026 is being treated as a retirement village or a vacation site. I must remind you all that this is false. We are still an active confinement facility.
The humanoid anomalies under our care are not guests, and like those at any other site, they are subjects of confinement and research. WESTCOM has, however, granted me permission to continue the site’s experiment in rehabilitating these anomalies, hence the perceived leniency of our site’s culture compared to other sites.
With the limited budget received from the Containment Division, I ask you all to keep our code of conduct strictly in mind.
