Numerous personnel affiliated with the Authority, as well as several independent agencies and organizations, have reported personally encountering alternate-reality counterparts of themselves near confirmed Nucorp facilities. According to these accounts, the individuals claim to originate from Nucorp's home dimension and were, in several cases, nearly identical to the witnesses they encountered.
These so-called "doppelgängers" reportedly attempted to recruit their counterparts, negotiate undisclosed agreements, or otherwise persuade them to cooperate with corporate policies. The exact nature and purpose of these proposed arrangements remain unknown, as no witness has provided a consistent account of what was offered.
The prevailing theory is that Nucorp is deliberately locating alternate-reality counterparts of its own personnel. As for the reason why remains unclear.
