Terrible Trio » CBBC Releases "The Wonders of Science with Dr. Nu"
On June 5th, CBBC released a new educational, live-action show titled "The Wonders of Science with Dr. Nu", starring Brian Edward Cox as the titular doctor. The show was funded in collaboration with the Nucorp Institute, in honor of "Britain's greatest, but least recognized minds of the 20th century"
Each episode centers around a basic physics topic (gravity, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, etc.), with Dr. Nu taking a class of children through his "Nu Gate" into a world themed around that episode's subject. The show has already been the subject of several entertainment and educational awards, and has been amicably compared to an English take on PBS' "Bill Nye the Science Guy"
CBBC and Dr. Cox have refused to cooperate during questioning regarding the authenticity of the show's "Nu Gate". It is currently believed that "Heavy World" of episode "What's the Matter with Matter?" is ALTR-Nu923.
