The house in which RPC-700 is located
Registered Phenomena Code: 700
Object Class: Alpha-Yellow
Hazard Types: Sensory Hazard, Aggression Hazard
Containment Protocols: The house affected by RPC-700 is to be blocked from the public. In the case an individual exhibits RPC-700-1 properties without being affected by RPC-700, the individual will be researched in the case of multiple instances of RPC-700 existing.
Description: RPC-700 is an 2 x 1 m. stall shower located in a residential house in Crawford, Nebraska. It possesses no physical anomalies.
RPC-700's anomalous abilities manifest when RPC-700 is opened and a human being remains in the stall for 10 minutes or more. The subject will claim to experience thoughts based around a being. After leaving RPC-700, no unusual thoughts will manifest on the subject for approx. 4 days.
After said 4 days, subjects will then start a series of stages:
Stage 1: The subject will experience an acute fear of water and steam. Subjects past Stage 1 will be named RPC-700-1.
Stage 2: RPC-700-1's voice will start to be muffled by shower noise, until RPC-700-1's voice is completely muted by it. If in a state of distress, panic, or anger, the shower noise will be replaced with steam whistles, and RPC-700-1 will release vapor from its mouth. RPC-700-1 will be extremely distressed by this stage, and ~29% of RPC-700-1 instances die of heart attacks before Stage 3.
Stage 3: Bite marks will start appearing at random in the body of RPC-700-1. RPC-700-1 will subsequently die due to their bites. If RPC-700-1 is killed prematurely, the Stage 3 still continues.
Stage 4: Several body parts will start to slowly fade out from the corpse of RPC-700-1 until it fully disappears. The process creates a high amount of steam, which obscures the corpse of RPC-700-1.
A house affected by RPC-700 after growth.
Registered Phenomena Code: 700
Object Class: Alpha-Yellow Beta-Orange
Hazard Types: Sensory Hazard, Aggression Hazard, Grouped Hazard, Immeasurable Hazard, Info-Hazard.
Containment Protocols: The house affected by RPC-700 is to be blocked to the public. In the case a person exhibits RPC-700-1 properties without being affected by RPC-700, the subject should be researched in the case there are multiple instances of RPC-700. Residents living in buildings affected by RPC-700 are to be administered with EG-3 and relocated into a non-infected house. Demolition of RPC-700-infected houses is to be approved by Level 4 personnel or higher. All RPC-700-2 related content must be incinerated. Infected subjects will be terminated, and cover stories explaining the subject's death must be created if necessary.
Description: RPC-700 is an 81 x 81 cm stall shower located in a residential house in Crawford, Nebraska. It is it possesses no physical anomalies in itself. The pipeline of RPC-700 descends indefinitely downwards. Attempts to change the pipeline or digging deeper than 16 meters below RPC-700 have been met with failure as individuals performing this acts will suddenly stop for unknown reasons. This anomaly also affects machines, as remote-controlled excavation machines will suddenly stop responding, and manually-controlled ones will have their staff suddenly stopping it.
RPC-700's anomalous abilities manifest when RPC-700 is opened and a human being remains in the stall for 10 minutes or more. The subject will experience thoughts based on an unknown being. After leaving RPC-700, no unusual thoughts will manifest on the subject for approx. 4 days.
Subjects affected by RPC-700 will then start a series of stages:
Stage 1: The subject will start to experience acute fear of water and steam. Subjects past Stage 1 will be named RPC-700-1. Subjects will commonly create verbal, written, and visual memetic content centered around the being they had previously thought about inside RPC-700 (hereby called RPC-700-2), people affected by said content will exhibit behavior identical to RPC-700-1 instances
Stage 2: RPC-700-1's voice will start to be muffled by shower noise until RPC-700-1's voice is completely muted by it. The noise and vapor have also been discovered to create the same anomalies caused by RPC-700-2.
Stage 3: Bite marks will start appearing at random in the body of RPC-700-1. RPC-700-1 will subsequently die due to the bites.
Stage 4: Several body parts will start to slowly fade out from the corpse of RPC-700-1 until it fully disappears. It is believed both the marks and the missing body parts are caused by a physical form of the caterpillar described in RPC-700-2 content feeding from RPC-700-1 instances by unknown means. This caterpillar will hereby be referred to as RPC-700-3.
Incident 700-1: On the 10/4/20██, various researchers discovered RPC-700's memetic abilities. This caused a massive panic attack on OL Site-162, which caused infected personnel to release extremely large amounts of steam from their mouths. After 2 minutes, OL Site-162's East, North and South Wing were engulfed in steam. Several witnesses reported a large being similar to RPC-700-3, and also reported that the corpse of Site Overseer Kitch Clifford had his body mangled by some unknown force. OL Site-162 was evacuated, abandoned and quarantined by Board Command.
Addendum 700-1: 10 days after tests on RPC-700 had been stopped, a loud groan was heard resonating below RPC-700's pipeline. After the groan, shower pipes near the pipeline of RPC-700 started stretching and attached to RPC-700. The showers were seen to possess the same anomalous phenomena as RPC-700. Due to this, RPC-700 has been reclassified as Beta.
