Registered Phenomena Code: 440

Object Class: Gamma-Red

Containment Protocols: RPC-440 is to be contained within a standard humanoid containment chamber with basic furnishing and appliances. The chamber containing RPC-440 must be devoid of any form of observation and/or geological surveying devices, this includes the usage of sonar imaging systems near RPC-440's containment chamber. Inspection of the chamber for any form of breach that may allow a direct line of sight to the object is to be undertaken on a biweekly basis.

Feeding is done through a dumbwaiter three times a day; meals must contain the standard daily amount of nutrients needed for a teenage human female. RPC-440 may be granted a daily meal reduction at certain times of the year per religious reasons. RPC-440 is to be provided SSRI antidepressant pills on a biweekly basis, per Dr. Edward Mason's prescription.

Under no circumstances should personnel assigned to RPC-440 initiate conversations and/or maintain any form of relationship with RPC-440. Violation of this order will result in a temporary or permanent reassignment. Only selected individuals with direct approval from the assigned head researcher are exempt from this precedent. Communications is to be done through the integrated intercom inside RPC-440's containment chamber.

Personnel that are exposed to RPC-440 must be quarantined for at least one week. After full recovery, exposed personnel may be allowed to return to their duties. Any and all RPC-440-1 subjects are to be immediately terminated after a positive diagnosis.

Relocation of RPC-440 must be done by a modular containment chamber with no openings other than the access door. If possible, RPC-440 is to be instructed to wear a headwrap that covers the entirety of its face provided by the supervising personnel.

Description: RPC-440 appears to be a human female measuring 155cm in height, 54kg in weight with a Southeast Asian ethnicity. However, its appearance may vary from person to person depending on their response to RPC-440's memetic effects.

Experiments with CSD personnel reported all test subjects perceived RPC-440 as a young woman with average to exquisite characteristics within approximately 10 seconds of observation. The initial depiction of RPC-440 differs from each individual; subjects reported of perceiving RPC-440's face as their sister, former colleague, wife and at times, various celebrities.

However, after observing the object for longer than 10-30 seconds, subjects reported of perceiving RPC-440 as a faceless woman with all of its clothes currently worn morphing into a red kebaya1. This stage is considered as the lethal offset due to most experimented subjects were diagnosed with brain hemorrhage.

After approximately one minute of continuous observation, subjects started to bleed from every facial orifice. However, none of the subjects reported experiencing pain. This stage will progress into psychosis and—if the subject survives the ordeal—will show extreme devotion to RPC-440. Subjects that have reached this stage have a 67% chance of survival and are henceforth referred to as RPC-440-1.

RPC-440's memetic effects also manifest in every media depiction of the object (e.g. pictures, quick sketches and as far as sonic frequency readings). Furthermore, media depictions will always have RPC-440 show a sultry expression regardless of the situation it finds itself in (e.g. Image 440.1 is supposed to show RPC-440 pinned against the wall in distress yet personnel reported of seeing RPC-440 as relaxed).
