Containment Protocols: RPC-394 is currently contained at Site-002 in a standard item containment chamber, sealed within a 4x4m oblong vein of anomalously-affected, semi-transparent silver ore which cannot be damaged by any conventional means. Testing on RPC-394, or access to its containment chamber, is restricted behind Level-4 or higher approval. RPC-394 requires no maintenance, however, cameras are to be remotely inspected per standard remote upkeep protocols.

Once a month, Site-286 staff are to be deployed to the location of RPC-394’s holding. Upon arrival, they are to ensure the continuous sustainability of its containment systems, repairing or updating them if necessary. Special care must be put towards the protocols regarding its memetic properties. Upon completion, staff are to enact a one-week observation of the anomaly, ensuring no unorthodox changes occur, and departing once this period ends.

Artistic interpretation of MST Alpha-3's initial discovery of RPC-394.

Description: RPC-394 is an autonomously beating human heart, estimated to be more than two thousand years of age. The exterior of RPC-394 retains the coloration normally attributed to a healthy human heart, despite lacking any detectable blood cells. RPC-394's main anomalous feature, referred to as RPC-394-1, is its ability to warp reality to a degree that is commonly associated with the granting of "magical wishes". However, instances of RPC-394-1 have always been recorded to cause—either directly or indirectly—harmful and/or lethal effects subsequent to the granting of the wish upon the user of RPC-394.1

Its secondary effect, designated RPC-394-2, is the gradual shift of a person’s ideological and moral standards towards those that can be considered as greedy and/or envious in nature,2 with prolonged exposure exacerbating this psychological degradation to the point of disregarding any and all preconceived moral convictions, familial bonds, etc.3

RPC-394 has the ability to telepathically communicate with all sapient beings within a 4x4m range of it.4 Personnel have reported RPC-394 communicating to them when entering this range, with each individual that hears RPC-394 regarding its voice.

This voice strengthens in both psychotronic strength and clarity as one gets closer to RPC-394. Subjects that communicate with RPC-394 in this manner will first perceive it as weak, increasing in volume as time passes. The voice will begin vocalizing in Aramaic, slowly shifting to the English vocabulary as contact is maintained, speaking in fluent English by the end.5

During telepathic communication, RPC-394 will refer to itself as "Judas of Kerioth"6 or "Sir Judas Iscariot of Kerioth", firmly believing itself as the original Judas mentioned in the biblical story of Jesus Christ's betrayal. When questioned about its name and/or origin, RPC-394 will roughly paraphrase Juda’s story as told in the Bible,7 with the key difference being that he had been given three separate curses, by what RPC-394 believes to be the Judaic God, sometime after Jesus Christ's crucifixion.

The first curse was being granted with the same reality-altering abilities Jesus Christ allegedly once possessed. The second being misfortune for all those who may ask for “miracles” to be granted by RPC-394. And the third being immortality, so that, in RPC-394's own words, “May the shadow of my betrayal be forever cast upon humanity, a constant reminder of man’s greed and desire." According to RPC-394, all that supposedly remains of its body is the heart that we see today.
