Containment Protocols: An airtight 46m3 steel cube has been erected around RPC-336 in OL-Site-336.1 with one steel door placed at the cell's entrance. The cube's walls should be 5 inches thick to minimalize breaches. A humidity level of 60% is to be maintained at all times within the cube to neutralize the anomalous properties of RPC-336-2. Should the humidity levels inside the chamber show a humidity level of 75% or higher, all CSD and ASF personnel are to be evacuated or otherwise equipped with gas masks and/or sufficient breathing apparatuses.

The same containment protocols are required for the humanoid entities designated RPC-336-1A that arise from RPC-336. The tentacles that may occasionally arise from RPC-336, designated RPC-336-1B, must be kept in RPC-336 using an electric fence that borders RPC-336's edges. All subjects who have expired inside RPC-336's containment must be recovered as quickly as possible to avoid "feeding" RPC-336-1B.

Description: RPC-336 is a backyard in-ground swimming pool of indeterminate depth, with only 5km having been explored so far. From an unidentified point in RPC-336 anomalous vapor is exuded, designated RPC-336-2.

RPC-336-2 has a potent mind-controlling effect on victims inhaling it: affected subjects will be driven to enter RPC-336 and swim downward until they lose consciousness via asphyxiation or excess pressure. Once the subject's vital functions cease while in this state, they will begin a gradual transformative reanimation process.

Reanimated subjects, designated RPC-336-1A, lack facial features and bodily hair. Their skin will form a blueish pigmentation and will have a similar texture to bone with separations for the joints needed to retain movement. While RPC-336-1A loses most of their original senses, they still retain spatial awareness and balance after their reanimation. They also preserve their capability of intelligent thought and can perceive human beings that are in close proximity to RPC-336. Other vital functions such as sleeping and eating are lost during the reanimation process.

RPC-336-1A instances have been observed to patrol RPC-336 when not being interacted with. After a continuous 15-minute patrol, RPC-336-1A will abruptly expire.

Should an individual be within 1.5m of RPC-336-1A, it will become hostile and attempt to kill the subject in order to drag them into RPC-336. Doing so will cause the lifespan of RPC-336-1A to extend by 15 minutes.

RPC-336 contains an unknown collective amount of tentacles pigmented red or orange. These tentacles can occasionally be seen extending from an indeterminate point to the surface.

It was observed that when a subject expires within RPC-336, their body is some kind of food source for RPC-336-1B, causing them to grow in strength, size, and population. This also causes RPC-336-1B to surface more in quicker intervals.

If anything were to go through the walls such as drilling, exploding, and mining, RPC-336 will only appear to be a 1.5-meter deep pool. But once subjects who observed this event surface and observe the pool once again, it will go back into its infinite state. This will trigger RPC-336-1B to surface and attempt to terminate all surrounding life as if it was harmed.

Note: RPC-336-1A and RPC-336-1B only respond to human/organic material. Thus far no reaction is shown to the drones by RPC-336-1A and RPC-336-1B. However, RPC-336-1B will not be visible to drones or any camera equipment not attached to a human subject, nor will it attempt to make an appearance or attack the drone.
