Interviewed: RPC-314
Interviewer: Dr. Vergara
Foreword: RPC-314 was given a brief examination by medical personnel before being debriefed by Dr. Vergara. While care was taken not to reveal unnecessary information to RPC-314, it was found to be far calmer than usual, and was later described by personnel as being far more relaxed than individuals under Authority care generally are.

Dr. Vergara: Hello Mr. ███████.
RPC-314: Hello Dr. Vergara.
Dr. Vergara: Ah, so it's true. You know people's names. Well, I am Level 3 personnel, as you requested. Are you willing to speak up now?
RPC-314: Gladly. Ask away.
Dr. Vergara: So, first off, why don't you just tell me about yourself. Who are you?
RPC-314: My name is ████ ███████, I was born to a 1st generation Egyptian immigrant couple in Las Vegas. My mother is a housewife, while my father is a chiropractor.
Dr. Vergara: Mhm. Now, how did you get from there, to the middle of the Nevada desert?
RPC-314: Well, It was better to pick somewhere more isolated when making the cross from my home universe.
Dr. Vergara: I'm sorry, home universe?
RPC-314: Yes. I'm not from this universe, but an alternate one. Remnants, is what you call it.
Dr. Vergara: Hm. So, why did you leave then?
RPC-314: Well, let's just say things there aren't the best. Or, well, they won't be.
Dr. Vergara: So, you're a refugee then?
RPC-314: Not exactly, more of a pioneer? Trailblazer? I'm here to prepare things. Or atleast make sure they stay nice and good.
Dr. Vergara: Prepare? How so?
RPC-314: Well, a lot of bad things are going to happen. lot of people are going to die, and the ones that are left are going to be desperate for safety. That's where this universe comes in. Unfortunately, there won't be too many who can make it.
Dr. Vergara: You uh, you keep referring to things in the future. As though you know for certain they're going to happen. What makes you so sure that's all going to happen?
RPC-314: Because I've been there. Repeatedly.
Dr. Vergara: You went to the future?
RPC-314: No, I lived through it. I grew up there, in that doomed world, and saw everything fall apart repeatedly. Nothing I did, nothing I said, nothing I tried ever changed it. I suppose I should explain what makes me anomalous. It's a bit of a long story, is that alright?
Dr. Vergara: Please, go ahead.
RPC-314: You see, whenever I die, no matter how or when, my life restarts. I close my eyes for what should be the last time, and open them again to find my self in the delivery room, surrounded by my parents, doctors, nurses.Everything's the same each time, except for the fact that I have my memories of the life before that one, and the one before that, so on and so forth. At first I wasn't even aware of the danger to my reality, died young you see. But, as I lived longer, I saw it. I saw the great cataclysm that destroyed so much. At first I thought that was the purpose for my being. To prevent the disaster.
RPC-314: So that's what I did. I put my all into fighting it, gathered every piece of knowledge I could, and put it to use. Lifetime after lifetime, failed strategy after failed strategy. None of it ever worked. Not even an eternity was enough to stop it. It didn't matter who I tried to be, what I tried to do, what I tried to say. It all failed in the face of that calamity. Eventually I discovered the Authority, however.
RPC-314: At first I thought this was the missing puzzle piece. The answer to my struggle. That if I simply worked with them, this could be contained. I willingly put myself in front of them, explained who and what I was, and advised them as best I could. At first they were apprehensive of me, but as I learned more of their organization I was able to do more to convince them of my utility. I managed to prevent countless containment breaches. Those first few times I really thought it might work. No. Not even the Authority was enough for me to stop it all. Still, I was willing to keep trying. However many lifetimes it took.
RPC-314: Eventually, though, it all took its toll on me. While I'm of stronger stuff than most, just from centuries of experience, I am still human. There's only so much I can take. It started to show to the Authority. They could see it in me, the countless failures, the hopelessness of the situation. Eventually, the time came when they gave up on even me saving that reality. So they told me of their last resort. Here.
RPC-314: While my world was doomed, there was another that was not. I couldn't save mine, but I could protect this one atleast. Prepare it, and preserve it for the refugees of mine. And so, that's why I'm here, Dr. Vergara. I'm here to prepare the Authority for the refugees it's going to get, and to protect this world from ever suffering a fate like mine. I hope we can do so.
Dr. Vergara: I hope so too. That'll be all for today, though we of course will have more questions for you later after we've thought about what you've said here today.
RPC-314: See you then.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: This is when RPC-314's anomalous properties were first fully understood, and it was determined that it must be contained rather than processed as a non-anomalous human.
