A non-anomalous version of RPC-095

Registered Phenomena Code: 095

Object Class: Alpha-Red

Hazard Types: Toxic Hazard, Mechanical Hazard

Containment Protocols: RPC-095 is to be stored in a cushioned Alpha-Class Storage Unit at Site-004. Personnel with Level-2 clearance and above are allowed to conduct tests on RPC-095. Anyone who attempts to activate RPC-095 without permission will be apprehended and sent for questioning. One armed security guard must accompany the tester at all times. No less than three armed security guards must accompany the tester at all times [See Testing Log 095-1].

Description: RPC-095 is a "Telechron Turn-About" clock manufactured by Telechron Electrical Clocks in 19541, with its time set at 4:15. Its anomalous properties manifest when an individual manually changes its time in a counter-clockwise direction by turning the bottom-right knob on its back, therefore changing it from its 4:15 standard time. Once RPC-095 is activated all objects within 20 meters will experience a form of degradation and disfigurement. RPC-095 will activate when placed outside or inside and can be activated by anyone. If RPC-095 is moved from its location while in an active state, the range of influence will stay the same distance but now have its source from its new location, potentially affecting different objects. Items will continue to degrade until they disintegrate as long as RPC-095 is off from its normal time.

Data has shown that there are "distances" from RPC-095's normal state that affect the amount of time it takes for change to occur among objects, with 4:16 being the slowest time, and 4:14 being the fastest. Testing has shown that humans and animals are unaffected by RPC-095, however, clothing items worn during activation can be affected. When RPC-095 is returned to its normal time, all objects will anomalously repair themselves, but whatever disfigurement and distortion that has occurred will remain. Objects that are moved outside of the range during activation have been shown to not be affected by the restoration process.

Compiled list of the known effects of RPC-095
An effect that causes lacerations to appear in different objects in the area of influence. After these lacerations are made, a mixture of the blood of different extinct species will secrete out of them [See Testing Log 095-1]
An effect that causes specific objects to lose all internal moisture and shrivel. This effect has been shown not to remove the moisture inside of living objects such as humans, but will cause the loss of moisture from the air in the affected area
An effect that causes affected objects to develop burn and ash marks, as well as give off auras of extreme heat that vary between 40°C to 60°C
An effect that causes objects to appear mangled and distorted. This effect is notable because test subjects who have experienced it will express no memory of the event after a test is conducted

RPC-095 was found after a news station in [REDACTED] published a story about a family that had found a "Magical Clock". The item was seized by Authority specialists and all individuals who had read the story and come into contact with the object were mind-wiped via Extergito Glyphs. The home of the family who had discovered RPC-095 was found to contain numerous rusted and warped items.
