Discovery: The first instance of RPC-231 was discovered on ██/██/180█, in the possession of ████████ ████████, a known member of the GOI known as "The Union” and suspected inventor of RPC-231, although no documents detailing the construction were found. While there were initially plans to use RPC-231 to uncover anomalies, this avenue of research was quickly abandoned upon the discovery of RPC-231's ideological hazardous properties.

Addendum: An additional instance of RPC-231 was discovered on ██/██/193█. The owner was questioned on where they had acquired the instance, and whether there were more. However, the owner refused to cooperate and had to be amnesticized and released from custody. Acquisition of remaining RPC-231 instances and determining the identities of the manufacturers was given maximum level importance by the Global Council, for fear that The Union may utilize them to spread fear and paranoia througout the United States population.
