Overview - Taken between a recovering GRPC Ranger Denis Joh and GRPC Galactic Affairs Investigator Richard Hill aboard GRPC Station 008. After reentering Station 008 via an airlock, Richard Hill confiscated all station video recordings taken in the last 24 hours by the official order of the GD.
Investigator Richard Hill walks into the frame
GRPC Ranger Denis Joh: Oh, hello, you're a visitor from GRPC? I don't get many of those.
Investigator Richard Hill: In a way. I'm an Investigator for the GRPC.
GRPC Ranger Denis Joh: Oh.
Investigator Richard Hill: I would have come sooner, but the doctors said you were comatose.
GRPC Ranger Denis Joh: They said it was a miracle I regained consciousness. Even now, I feel like I'm not fully awake yet.
Investigator Richard Hill: The miracles of modern medicine. Look, Ranger, you saw the most out of anyone. You're the key witness in this investigation, and now I would be grateful if you could tell me exactly what you saw.
GRPC Ranger Denis Joh: Most of it was a blur; I'm sure my video feed would be a more reliable witness.
Investigator Richard Hill: If your video feed is believed, you shot Rocketeer Vanta Ngai without provocation.
GRPC Ranger Denis Joh: Nonsense!
Sound of beeping increasing in tempo
Investigator Richard Hill: Calm down, Ranger. Just tell it to me as is.
Investigator Richard Hill puts his hand on Ranger Joh's shoulder
GRPC Ranger Denis Joh: He shot himself right before me.
Investigator Richard Hill: I see, and why did he shoot himself?
GRPC Ranger Denis Joh: But that's impossible; he wasn't holding any gun.
Investigator Richard Hill: Tell me what you saw.
GRPC Ranger Denis Joh: The video did it; Rocketeer Ngai was naked, right? He was in the vacuum of space. But how is that possible?
Investigator Richard Hill: Stop worrying about the body camera footage; tell me what you saw. Notably, after you, I mean, Vanta Ngai, shot himself.
GRPC Ranger Denis Joh: I saw flashes of his mind.
Investigator Richard Hill: What was in the flashes?
GRPC Ranger Denis Joh: Different universes, some beyond comprehension.
Investigator Richard Hill: So, you're saying Rocketeer Ngai is in a different universe?
GRPC Ranger Denis Joh: Not quite. It's hard to explain. All his dreams, aspirations, and habits swirled around us. I think he became the building blocks of a new universe, one of his own desires. I would have joined them if I hadn't resisted in my delusional state.
Investigator Richard Hill: What happened to the others? The S.S. Lunar Lover and S.S. Leonov crew caught in the effect?
GRPC Ranger Denis Joh: They were brought into Ngai's new world, just like the other specters.
Investigator Richard Hill: Other specters?
GRPC Ranger Denis Joh: Aliens of ages long gone. Refugees from dying worlds.
Investigator Richard Hill: You said you saw glimpses of this new world, specifically the one in which GRPC Rocketeer Ngai founded. What was it like?
GRPC Ranger Denis: It was a perfect world. My God, it was perfect. It had, Earth! We need to round up all the boys. Let everyone know that there's an escape from this hell.
Investigator Richard Hill: exhales

Investigator Richard Hill: I'm sorry, Joh, but amnestics wouldn't help now.
GRPC Ranger Denis Joh: What are you doing?
Investigator Richard Hill: Forgive me.
