This is the discussion related to the wiki page RPC-804.
This article was mediocre. Ultimately was just an anomaly, nothing particularly entertaining for me. The anomaly itself was not super unique, more just random. There was not much of a story with the anomaly. There wasn’t any good body horror with the shampoo, just some ok body horror. The retracting of the hair and nails were touching on something that could be interesting.
It doesn’t to have all of that, or any of that, but it needs something to be more than mediocre for me. 3 stars.

It's actually a nice read, I also gave it a 4. I think it would be a full 5 if it added somemmore backstory.
I know this isn't a completely valid complaint because this article is so much older, but I've heard this exact concept too many times before. 018 is nearly the exact same thing but written much better, and 660 had a nice GoI link and creatively envisioned biology. In contrast, this one does none of those things, and, unlike both of those articles, relies on cognitohazards to look convincing.
I was originally going to novote, but I ended up deciding to rate 2/5. It's just not very interesting.
