It's not purely bad. Besides what I've already mentioned, the delivery and writing are serviceable. The many images are used well. The exploration of RPC-152-2 had me genuinely hooked for a moment, but my enthusiasm was lost when I realized it was just a featureless extension of the already-described effect. Putting something of interest in the dimension would give this article more meaning, but it's limp as it stands.
