While a pretty straightforward anomaly, it was explained and explored well in its descriptions. But, the addendi at the end open questions and plot hooks (no pun intended) that are left completely unanswered and don't contribute to the article by themselves to make them necessary. It just sours the feeling of a perfectly fine article.
I think this is a great example of an RPC that would greatly benefit from a follow-up. With a story or similar to RPC-013 showing what changed, what happened compared to its current state. It definitely would be cool and make RPC lore and the world feel more alive. It would show nicely that things are not stagnant.
Felt I was reading the National Geographic for a bit here, it's really convincing how you've explained it here. I think it's perfectly adequate as is but I find the redactions random and were better suited to point to regions in the sea where ships are mysteriously sinking, for instance. Or hell even anywhere innocuous too cause it doesn't illicit any curiosity why a territory and timeline of deadly hordes of fish is redacted. What, precious carnivorous caviar? LOL
Nitpicks aside, 4 stars. Longray Fangjaw 3D when?
