Ok, here I go, so one of my issues with SCP is that there are so many articles which stop at less than 100 or even 50 upvotes whereas other articles have more than 200 votes and an entire canon dedicated to them. Some articles are just written, posted and are left to have no impact on the SCP universe. I want every article that survives the voting system to have an important role since we actually have a canon.
A way we can accomplish this is with an idea I've had for a while and I call it A-RPC files, which stands for additional RPC files. These would most likely come under the tales category and would be clinical reports that are linked to an already existing RPC. These would not necessarily have to be written by the author of the RPC but should probably be created with the authors approval. These reports could paint a new goal for the authority. Perhaps instead of just containing anomalies, the authority should be trying to utilize them, multiple examples could be, perhaps an RPC could be used to improve medical science, perhaps an RPC can solve world hunger or perhaps an RPC could be utilized for the creation of military equipment. What if the Authority plans to someday release anomalies to the public because they know that they can't hide the anomalies that doom this world forever.
RPC shouldn't entirely be about containment but preparing humanity for an anomalous world. Of course the additional documents can be about whatever you want but I believe they should add something to the original document. But a good example could be testing an RPC to see if they could utilize it, it is up to you whether or not the test is successful. more examples of content of A-RPC files could consist of cross-tests, event logs such as documented containment breaches or attempted heists committed by GoI members, explorations of unexplored GoI locations or location based RPCs. These are just some examples of what you could do. If we want a better experience than SCP we should go down the rabbit hole and explore what these mysterious anomalies are capable of and what limits of reality they can surpass.
