Okay, listen. I know some of you may be outrageous right now BUUUUT listen. In the SCP Foundation Multiverse, there are many universes with groups which resemble the SCP Foundation very, very closely. They haven't been named. Yet. The RPC Authority is a close resemblance of the SCP foundation and I think it could exist in the Omniverse just in another Multiverse trying to seek contact to the outside of reality itself. Or just in another Universe / Dimension of the same Multiverse. You know what I'm trying to say? (Even though I would prefer another Multiverse since that would make things much more complicated then they are currently). So let's say a dimensional rift accrued and the SCP Foundation and the RPC Authority met each other, they (SCP-F) could be something between a T-03 or A-01. This would be quite interesting since this would make us look like we weren't trying to replace the SCP Foundation completely and for people who don't know anything about the RPC Authority or the SCP Foundation we wouldn't look like a total ripoff. This would allow very interesting interactions with a whole new big player which could be also working on ways of destroying SCP-682 for example. Even though I think that some crossovers should be made and we potentially should be added on their wiki as a GOI as well, I think we shouldn't make it everyday occurrences and just make specific occasions or incidents logs in which we meet because our goals are very similar and we aren't like an equivalent of the Global Occult Coalition but rather the SCP Foundation (but newer and with a shinier theme) itself.
But as many people have said in the past… It's all just up to everyone's headcanon. So in case, we do make such articles that don't mean everyone has to accept it but it would be quite interesting indeed. So who's in?
And if yes, would you do it differently? If you were to integrate the SCP Foundation in the RPC canon SOMEHOW, how would you do it? Maybe it's just a rumor, or they are just from another timeline? Who knows… Only SCP-343 can tell…
RPC is trying to sever all ties with SCP. It would make things worse to have canon with them or have them be in any article.
This just gave me an idea for a -J article.
The RPC Authority is in a different universe from the SCP Foundation, DOT.

First off, a terrible idea.
Second of all, there is already an SCP & RPC crossover. The Official Chinese SCP Wiki has an article about this. The only reason why that is accepted is because Chinese SCP actually likes us compared to English SCP.
Considering the fact RPC is primarily English, and our history with the English SCP. Having the SCPF as a GOI is a terrible decision.
Not a good idea… for now. The answer might change in a few years, but for now neither of our communities want to interact. If you want to mention the Foundation in your multiverse articles then just change their name a bit. Kinda under the table refference.
I agree with the general sentiment here, it's not a good idea. If anything, the schism clearly shows that we aren't going to interact any time soon, if ever. Even if you could explain RPC-SCP interactions on a multiverse/omniverse level, it still doesn't translate well when both communities aren't that willing to entertain the idea.
Even if you give it time, it could go either way. Maybe some amicable relationship can start years into the future and some collaboration can begin (which itself carries the risk of generating a mixed userbase that's just a ticking time bomb) or we divert so much (mostly in the inner workings of the fictional setting) that it becomes impossible.
If you want a personal opinion, I'm not keen on putting SCP as a GOI here, I think it's much more important to set ourselves apart than to become just "SCP 2: The Containmenting"
Please don't do that. The SCP staff perceive us as primitive lifeforms with bad intentions so we are going to keep a tall fence between us and those jerks. Plus I want nothing to do with them. And that's that.
I feel like the RPC Authority is already perceived as the wannabe SCP Foundation, and it will make it seem like we're trying to make a canon tied with them which is bad not only because it will look like riding coattails but canon is a dirty word to most people associated with SCPs
There is probably no reason for SCP crossover for clear reasons and that should stay the same in my opinion and in general its not that great of idea and lastly as stated above these 2 exist in different universes and shouldnt be connected even with some kind of different universe contacting RPC or SCP.
Well if it was ever gonna be done(which probably not), you can hint at the idea that it might be related to the Foundation but never directly reference them
In my opinion SPC and RPC need to stay separated from each other forever, like oil and water.
nah we good
I pronounce "pineapples" like I do "Minneapolis."
stop neroposting faggot
Fuck you viz, we love fucking the everloving shit out of whatever thread we want and you can't stop us.
Gay balls lmao
A SCP crossover might happen…. 20 years into the future where all current SCP staff that hate RPC have either retired or died. But seriously though,(most of) SCP just thinks of us as a shitty clone that just steal their ideas, even though there are a lot of differences like how (most of) SCP is openly gay but (most of) RPC is closeted gay, etc.
closeted
debatable
Yes. there are a few gays who aren't closeted such as me, but those are few compared to the people who deny that they're gay even though it's quite obvious that they're gay.
