We need to get this straight before we get to far ahead of ourselves

The names of all object classes

Safe - Alpha
Euclid - Beta
Keter - Gamma
Neutralized - Neutralized
Explained - ???
Apollyon - ??? (Delta?)
Thaumiel - ???

We should sort this out, because if we don't than we will have a stupid large amount of RPCs to edit down the line

This is my proposal, it keeps things short and sweet.

The core:
Alpha
Beta
Gamma

Researched/understood/neutralized:
Maybe phi (Φ) since it looks like Ø.

World Enders/ExtraRares/UseSparingly:
Omega, We already got the logo for it. Can't link it due to Karma but you can see it, here:
rpcauthority(dot)wdfiles(dot)com/local—files/rpc-format/omega

With that we would have a fully comprehensive list, that is all Greek-centric and no more need for superfluous classes. We get our usual 1-3 (nearly all RPC are these) And we get our neutralized and Ultra-rare. What do you think?

Also, considering RPC is more so about research, I suggest a class that has been researched, but not contained? Maybe Epsilon?

We don't need apollyon. Gamma can already mean impending or inevitable doom.

I don't think the current object class names are very clear enough in their meaning from the outset. When I first came here, I wasn't sure whether alpha or gamma was the hardest to contain or easiest to contain.

Then again, that's the same for euclid and keter on SCPwiki.

i think its easier, the lower down the alphabet the less likely to contain they are.

I think that Thaumiel should be Xi (Ξ, looks better when seriffed), because it looks like a pair of clamps enveloping another object, I agree with Walden on Neutralized, It think Explained should be Iota, because it is the root for the word Jot, as in jotting down the explaination (actually, I just like the way it sounds, but that is true) and Apollyon should be Omega.
