If the site is aiming for a clinical, professional tone, this page should be renamed to something less casual than than “Guide For Newbies,” like “Guide for New Members.”

We aim for clinical tone in our articles and fiction, not necessarily in the way we converse as a community. That would be… well let's be honest, that would be miserable.

The capitalisation makes it sound like you're talking about the group.
Actually, some other wording seems to conflate the wiki with the story it writes.
