A Sit Down with Death - RPC Authority

A man uses a time ritual to stop time all around the world except himself. He does this to buy some time to find a magic spell to save his dying wife, but this draws the attention of the Grim Reaper or a different Psychopomp. He bargains to spare her life and let her live a few more years. She is currently dying from Ovarian Cancer.
