"Pitot extended his hand"

Loved it, felt immersed instantly. Dialogues, actions done by characters and their experiences felt real. Detailing on characters was just enough to not be too little or too much, fitting middle ground where it makes you want to learn more bout the world and situation in which this is occuring. Storytelling made me want to draw scenes, particularly air witch moments, cuz interpretation of just "military poncho" and "cone hat" can be varied, as well as the weapon they use could be portrayed in different ways. Unsure if there is specific depiction of such weapons or uniforms elsewhere but makes for a great drawing inspiration regardless.
Ending surprised me a bit but it's understandable, cuz regardless of choice, he'd probably fall by the hand of a witch (tho they could have been understanding, losses DO happen but how could he know that?). In this course of action it has been an end by a barrage, but if he came without the wounded one, they could have killed him in different fashion. Despite that, they could have probably stuck in tank halfway with one of em peaking outside haha, tho that would endanger both of them and he was, alongside having worry of the Coven, probably just too tired to care enough to save himself from bloodloss and cold experience of war, despite the drugs flowing through his system.
Solid 5 star rating. Got me hooked from get go til the end. It had very minor bits of slowing down inbetween which didn't hurt the pace much in my opinion since that's how things happen, variable motion of action.
