tl;dr Frog breaks molecules with its croaks, the Authority suspects more from this seemingly simple anomaly.

I'm going to be honest, your summary doesn't really descrine it at all. I read your post and thought

Just so you know, the maximum word count is 3000, not 1000. You will get extra points if you have under 1000 words but you are not required to, and you definitely shouldn't force your article to be that short if you think it would be better longer.
Currently the article feels underdeveloped and doesn't have much of a point to it. Most of the details simply don't matter. If it doesn't matter to the story that there are no female frogs, why even include that detail? It just feels random, and ultimately boring because there was no point to it.

"emits" on its own sounds weird, I say add something or use a different verb. otherwise, the first paragraph of the description is good.
While not knowing it at the time, Researcher Groff and his colleagues are all lucky to be alive, as their quick thinking, and Theodore's knowledge of Amphibian life allowed them to, in time, surmise that RPC-XXX was the one giving them extreme pain.
really breaks the tone, and something about "breaking apart Carbon" feels wrong to me but I'm not a physicist.

I don’t like the idea of using an MST here. Echo-21 isn’t stationed at 305, so I think that it should be a specialized ASF (http://rpcauthority.wikidot.com/authority-security-force) team instead. You can just call them ASF-XXX. These would be the guys who guard the anomaly already, and also the ones to deal with a breach. Maybe add something along the lines of ##blue| “Should ASF-XXX be rendered incapable of containing the anomaly, MST Echo-21 is to be deployed immediately.”

RPC-XXX emits frequencies that, if certain conditions are met, can match the resonance frequency of various non/organic elements or structures; oscillating the material beyond its elastic limit and causing damage to or, in extreme cases, completely collapsing the structure of said material.

Cut the list. You don’t need it. It limits the anomaly’s capabilities, it doesn’t really give the reader much to work with, and you don’t specify what it means by “destructive.” I remember you mentioned that it “destroying” table salt would cause a huge explosion over discord or something? Why isn’t that here? Etc. Either cut it or expand it with examples with what it does. If that sounds like too much, then it probably is.
