Gouda-y everyone. This is the product of a few months of cheese-based intrusive thoughts stewing in my head in the form of stupid memes, which Minutemen does not match any existing user name liked so much he carried my ass on my own concept. He also made all the images and the extremely cool gif.

Head Cheese, had me in the first act not gonna lie, then I got gut punched at the first case file. A wonderful mix of a research toned description right alongside the funny yet still dreadful reality of the article.

I still love this article and everything about it. Lots of great details. I do think it could elaborate a little on the grafting process- does the cheese need a human body to survive? Like, the ending implies it can be safely removed and reattached and still work, but I think stating that or at least pointing it out earlier would make the ending a bit more satisfying.

On that matter, it doesn't sound like you mention what happens when these people die. Does the cheese just keep on going? Is it still aware inside of that dead body???

Also, if that is the case, I'm surprised there wasn't anything about how this anomaly means you can be removed from your body and trapped in the cheese. Could you be immortal that way? I mean, cheese can last for thousands of years. Ooo. Implications.

Concept: Another log about how they found an Egyptian urn with functioning brain cheese that is 3000 years old.
