Uhhh, couple historical points of order:

• Mustangs aren't jets, they're fighters
• the Garand is the M1, not the M3
• Scoped M1s were very rare and only introduced at the tail-end of the Second World War; they became common-issue for snipers only in Korea
• the B52 Stratofortress wasn't introduced until 1955

…but then again it's RPC-003, so was this deliberate?

Upon a declaration of war, RPC-003-01 instances will immediately launch an R&D program in an attempt to increase their fighting force. This has resulted in the creation of both historically accurate and inaccurate creations. Weaponry created by RPC-003-01 instances become increasingly advanced the longer they remain active: modern firearms, aircraft carriers, power armor, ospreys, Apaches, and in one instance, even laser-based weaponry have been seen.

Yes, the historical inaccuracies are intentional.
