Honestly, I like the idea of the Statue of Liberty turning into a eldritch abomination if it gets hurt. But then again, it does seem a little too easy for it to come in harms way.

Also, nice reference to the socialist party of the same name, I don't care if its actually the United States Occult Community.

2/5 premise. Not very original, but has potential.
1/5 delivery. Extra dimensional stuff, other anomalies, goi lore, bogs it down.
3/5 grammar. Tone is alright, but the pseudoscience gobbledygook gets really cringe.

Fun read. The highlight is of course the last addendum as it is written well and excitingly. It is however a bit too "artistic" in its descriptions considering that it's an official video log.
