The ants then carry him off and begin to [DATA EXPUNGED] CSD-8657.
This completely kills whatever dramatic tension this article could have. I am to assume they take him apart and build using his material? If not, come up with something. Redacting or expunging something for no reason is anticlimactic and defeats the purpose of this test log being readily available on the document.
All anthuts1
1. RPC-352 instances do not live in anthills and instead live in small huts constructed out of wooden sticks.
Why call them anthuts? The proper, clinical term would be "structures" here if they are not anthills (which, by the way, "anthuts" isn't a word.) Terminology is also inconsistent as "anthuts", "anthills", and "huts" are all used.
Upon coming into contact with unprocessed wood6, instances of RPC-352 scouting for food will begin to emit a complex system of pheromones from their mandibles which are, as of right now, not fully understood.
"Upon encountering unprocessed woods, RPC-352 scouts will emit a pheromone from the mandibles."
Why specifically those scouting for food? What are these pheromones for? You never explain them, and so they have no purpose in the article.
This is much too short and underdeveloped to be published. The idea is also lacking; all I see here are ants that construct tiny furniture using wood and are slightly larger than other species of ant. It did not interest me, the test log was pointless, and I remain convinced that this is still in the very early stages of drafting. I am also going to avoid giving my final judgement since this needs way more work to be done on it. Good luck!
