The anomaly would be a phenomenon that the authority observes in that the farther one gets from major celestial bodies (planets, stars, black holes, etc); the larger, more complex, and more dangerous anomalies become. At the same time, the number of anomalies in any given region also shrinks until being only one or two big ones for hundreds of thousands of light years in any given direction.

Research tone. Don't really think it would work as "standard" RPC since it would be covering a very broad group of anomalies that would otherwise be largely unrelated.
