Some background knowledge
I semi-recently posted Laura's Hands, a tale about hands coming out of the sky and giving pearls to people to synchronize all of their alternate universe selves, merge them together and have them float between universes and have them give more pearls to other people.
I've been wanting to write a followup RPC for a while but wasn't sure how to do so without spoiling the original mystery and the leadup to the hands and the plot twist, but then I realized how I could do so.

The RPC followup idea
I was thinking: instead of making the hands the RPC, I could make the pearls the RPC instead.
- The article states that the pearls exist and they're not sure how they come to existence.
- The article states that those who touch the pearls seemingly dematerialize from reality and are untraceable.
- The end of the article mentions the discovery and continued sightings of the hands.
- This will crosslink to the tale.
By itself, this should create an intriguing anomaly in a very short article that should tie in well to the Tale without spoiling the original buildup and mystery.
My main concern really is just how well this can tie in with the aforementioned Tale. I'm open to all suggestions.
