Is 977 is described as the machine itself but the actions and logs are all taken by the puppet. This is the biggest issue for me.
RPC-977 will then gain the ability to control when the expiration of the subject will occur. It will do this by altering events by unknown means that will cause the subject to expire in the specified way.
How do they know that it's by control rather than seeing the future? How often are the predictions true? In the logs it's not "gaining the ability to control", it's straight up killing them with various means. The one closest to your description is choking, but that's pretty clear instant reality/summoned object manipulation. (IMO) I wouldn't call it control of when they expire when it is the one directly killing them. Some logs of them dying not immediately by its hand would be help.
The logs have it manifesting pizza out of thin air, which manifesting things should be described as a capability in the description. Same thing with the bugs and cyanide, that is described as a defense mechanism for if it's tampered with, not an offence capability.
Saddly this does not strike me as anything Amazing co either. If it didn't have it printed on the machine I wouldn't have known.

I agree with a lot of what Croal says, in terms of writing this could have a lot more polish and fine-tuning. In terms of presentation and structure though I dig it a lot. Even if it has my pet peeve of almost every paragraph starting with the classification number it’s still a gripping read. If you can address some of what others have pointed out I think it would be an all-time classic.

The rest is fine, if un polished, but good. The final log takes me out entirely.
Gotta find myself agreeing with everyone else here, this feel very unpolished. But I like the image and I see some potential so 2/5
With this, I've read every article by snowy that remains on the wiki. This one feels particularly emblematic of his strengths and pitfalls as a writer. There's a very recognizable twisted aesthetic to his creations that shines through here. The use of multimedia is strong as usual and object's design is memorable.
That's where the consistent strengths end, though. The Amazing! Co. link offers nothing and the article would probably be better without it. After the imagery, the actual effects of the anomaly underwhelm. I suppose the "death prediction" bit is serviceable, if played-out, but the rest of the article shows the anomaly killing people immediately. What gives? Also, the Pizza Hut drama is just ridiculous for reasons that shouldn't need to be explained.
The interview is okay. I do like this part:

The way the interview ends is cheesy, though.
At the end of the day, this anomaly is a thing that kills people when they interact with it. It has a lot of strong backing that could push it to be enjoyable, but as a whole it's not worth it. In the past I may have been inclined to give this article some pity, but by now I've decided that nudging it to be deleted or rewritten is better. 2/5
