If you're unfamiliar with it, Carmen Miranda's Ghost is a famous old filk album, full of "space folk songs" from the future. In tribute to it ('cause it's fucking awesome), I give you Lauzon's Michael, an in-universe musical tribute to the original album.

While I'm a fan of the original song, I'm gonna have to agree with Prototype_Toaster here. Just making an RPC themed remix comes off as just that, a remix. That said, I do think that a few short original shanties being used to pass along tales of exploits between staff members could work towards the world building element you're going for. It might make for an interesting plot element if it was the only way a memetic phenomena could be discussed without triggering its effect.

Yeah this really isn't interesting. This really only appeals to a certain niche and perhaps I am just not it. I do like the idea of authority staff creating little songs and other "fan" creations based on their own experiences. It is an interesting piece of world building. However this article itself just remains uninteresting as a whole when it is executed. It isn't offensively bad, but the "song" lyrics don't feel interesting to read and I couldn't really see them as an actual song. Because of that, I would give this a 3/5

And that's all. I initially agreed with Proto sentiment that we shouldn't rely too much on a reference. But with the context I have now this make so much more sense.

This is pretty good, "Pierre-Paul Lauzon" was kinda hard to pronounce in the song at first but it flows with the lyrics after a few more times of hearing it.

The timeline fits, though the composer would probably be around 50 years old or so when all of this happened. You also managed to talk about AEDF lore through the tribute.

All and all, I believe the idea is throughly developed.
