Strauss tells it a fantasized story about the 2019 Site-014 Disaster, making sure to include some fantastical elements on-par with Randolph Gowering's whimsical writings, as to make it believable. RPC-370 believes it.
to be honest, i'd loved much more to read this if it wasn't just told that it happened, but properly narrated
Denick: "Let's not dwell on it. What about you, RPC-1— ahem, Malibos?"
it's considerably harder to pronounce and remember "RPC-370" than it is "malibos". it doesn't make much sense that he'd get confused here.
I'm terrible sorry
terribly
RPC-370 produces a detailed sketch of Randolph Gowering.
this isn't exactly a problem, but it worries me that the article might lose some of its shine a few years down the line when most people forget about this event and stumble upon this rpc
Locke: "Hm. And, what about the 'crowned one' you saw?"
RPC-370: Pauses. "I don't know. Faither, maybe. A vision of the… sun. Heh. Damned thing."
Locke: "Does it tell you anything."
RPC-370: "Nay. Just stand there. It's sun that controls. There be suns in it's eyes. Suns that kill, suns that rape. Empty things."
i don't know exactly how this works but fucking based anyways
love it! i think it could've been better around certain points, but it's good as-is. the last interview is the very best segment, elevating this article to +4 tier
