This is an original idea well executed all things considered. These guys are kinda like wasps just more dangerous. That being said I have some gripes:

I feel the inclusion of a new AoI is unnecessary considering you could use any of the others we already have (maybe use Church of Malthus instead? their motto appears the same to me). My point is unless you plan on adding a solid backstory to this new AoI that is fundamentally different from other AoI already made then swap all mentions of "Gavel of God" for something else.
[…] and most notably ██████ ██ ██ ████████. This was to be done in exchange for [DATA EXPUNGED].
Using [DATA EXPUNGED] here seems like censoring abuse to me. This would sound so much better if instead of this you wrote it so it is left more in ambiguity. Replace "[DATA EXPUNGED]" with "various undisclosed political favors" or other similar phrases.

The 5th and last footnote is formatted horribly. For one it is WAY TOO LONG to be considered a footnote; not only that but that weird space between the two paragraphs makes it look like it is part of the article and not a footnote. To fix this trim the whole thing so it is shorter (or get rid of it and include the info in the actual article) and fix that weird spacing issue.
These mistakes are bad but do not detract from the experience overall. 3/5.
