I really wanted to like this article. It had potential. The idea and story for this article was really good, however, the potential for this article was not delivered upon. There are numerous places of non-clinical tone, such as constantly referring to the stomach/abdomen as the belly (Which kinda makes this article seem like a thinly veiled pregnancy fetish) and saying "RPC-603-2/3s" instead of RPC-603-2/3 instances. But the absolute worst part of this article has to be the interviews. What went wrong. They read like countryhumans fanfics you'd find on Wattpad. The dialogue is way too over-the-top, and lines like this:
I personally grew most of those reclining chairs that they won't touch because IT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR THEIR SELFIE ANGLES OR WHATEVER, <Pulling hair> HRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH-
And this:
Mallory: -IIIIIEEEEGGGHH… Y-you [EXPLETIVE]! This is breaking the Geneva Convention, I'm gonna-
[ DATA REDACTED ]
Mallory: -EEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAaaaaa-aaah… Fine! FINE! I'LL TALK! NO, NO! STOP! DON'T COME CLOSER!
Legitimately made me want to stop reading.
And after all that "comedy", the article suddenly gets really serious with the last few collapsibles, as if it doesn't know what kind of article it wants to be.
I'm sorry, but I'm giving this article 2 stars.
