This article is rather well written, but I have a few comments.

First, one of the paragraphs describing the effect of the anomaly is rather difficult to read, but this could be the intention and I understand the point it is trying to get across.

Secondly, the final portion of the table describing the effect of the anomaly states "Until now, no subject has survived past 46 matches." I was expecting this to be elaborated on further in the article, but it was not. One could assume it to be related to the Junior researcher but it is not explicitly stated, leaving a bit to be desired.

Regardless, this is a four star article and has a very interesting and intriguing premise.
