YES, you kept the last bit in. Bold choice to make the journals ahead of the description but out of all the pieces to do it in, this fits the most with what its satirizing. +5

All I got from this was a joke about how fucking on the nose a lot of writers do journal entries, and then a bunch of "random = funny" stuff that wasn't really related. I feel like I just missed something and didn't get the joke for 75% of this article. Is Wallace someone I'm supposed to know about before reading? The hell is going on in most of this. It's like a schizophrenic hallucination.

The "joke" amounted to whiny and unpleasant complaining about something that doesn't really matter. If I wanted to hear that, then I would just start a conversation in the RPC Discord.

I try to use a lot of standard-issued terms and clauses; like "invariably", or "have met with failure", or "to that end", or "no fewer than".

How dare they use common phrases.

And I don't really want to take writing advice from an article that starts out with fart and shit jokes. 1/5
