This was… alright? It doesn't really go anywhere, but it didn't bore me. After so much time spent reading articles critically, that's uncommon. This one shoots higher than the trope of the unnecessary discovery log, but only reaches the realm of discovery logs that add new stuff but don't lead further. I think the idea of someone blessing toilet paper with healing properties as thanks is supposed to be a punchline, but it's not really telegraphed as such.
As minor as it sounds, I was pleased to see that the writing was competent. A look at the edit history shows that this was thanks to third-party corrections, but it was still refreshingly clear to read. The only part that really bothered me was the first description sentence, which was incredibly long-winded.
Keeping me engaged was at least a somewhat commendable feat, which leads me from totally damning this article. 4/5. I don't know if I can confidently say I wouldn't rate lower, but I definitely wouldn't rate higher.
