This is a really charming article. I really liked the collapsible within the containment protocols. It worked perfectly to introduce the creatures before getting into the actual description. The article has some tonal issues but overall it’s decently strong. 4 stars
This is a great concept. As far as execution goes I'd say you hammered in every nail, except for clinical tone. This article would be better off if you came back to it and fix the clinical tone in this article. Until then 3 stars!
For the most part I liked the anomaly and the mystery behind it, but the tone and the syntax leave me feeling taken aback. It felt less like reading a report on the anomaly and more of an informal document made by a scout. Which if that was the intention, I feel would do better trying a new format.
Dreams. Each man longs to pursue his dream. Each man is tortured by this dream, but the dream gives meaning to his life. Even if the dream ruins his life, man cannot allow himself to leave it behind. In this world, is man ever able to possess anything more solid, than a dream?

i remember reading this a very long time ago, kinda. i rated it a 4 so lets see if im consistent at all lol
i love the image, and the concept itself- very good use of the below zero "setting." the first paragraph is a great hook, and it simply expands on that throughout the article. it sort of peters out in terms of tone and style as it goes on (the addenda aren't particularly engaging) but i think its a very solid article. im going to have to go from a 4 to a 3 here- its good, but i dont think it carries enough weight to be 4 stars. I dont like adding content for the sake of adding content, but in this case it seems as if so much has already been attached that doesnt serve the article very well that it should either be "tied up" so to speak by building onto those threads or alternatively shortening them to make room for more.
if 4 stars is very good, and 2 stars is acceptable/fair, this is 3 stars- good.
I set out to read a Below Zero article, and so I did. This one is really simple, and I don't have a whole lot to say about it.
One thing I can praise this for is how it familiarized me with the anomaly. Even though I was reading this for the first time, I already felt a clear understanding of how the entities act. That's really something special! Part of this is thanks to the intelligent ConProts, which are used to great effect here.
Otherwise, there's not a whole lot of narrative. I don't think I was told much of interest after the general concept was communicated, and the logs end up feeling like the same thing on repeat. I do admit that the final log is a great note to close the narrative with. I feel like the discovery section at the end is unnecessary, though, or at least that it should be placed above the addendum.
3/5. I never like giving this rating to things that charmed me, but there's very little to get out of this that you wouldn't get from a brief summary. If I had to recommend an article with an uncanny first impression but eventual unexpected wholesomeness, I would go with RPC-725. Which happens to be just a few spots below this one, funny that.
