I think it would read much better if you mentioned that it shows peritonitis like symptoms, but the expansion of the cavity continues anomalously leading to extremely high pressure, and eventually combustion.

I was hopeful reading the competent prose in the containment, but upon reading the description, I was disappointed at the concept. It's as if a sculptor with immense talent spent 20 years perfecting his sculpture of feces.

This is decently written, but it's kind of just Godzilla, down to radiation-metabolizing and being vulnerable to freezing. I think this veers too far over the line of homage, without doing enough of its own thing.

Like pretty much all the other failsafe RPC, I like the idea you're going for with this godzilla homage, and even the sequence of events is fine, but the specifics really bog the whole thing down in unfortunate ways. The original creature seems to exist solely as a way to explain why a nuke made it so big, to the point of barely even being anomalous, rather than having it's own thing going on that the nuclear upgrade mutated in new ways to create the final creature, which is a massive missed opportunity. For specifics:

What are the exact dimensions of "massive" and how does the authority hide this big simpsons movie-tier dome?

Why only the samples, and not the actual creature, who is covered in them?

Having been mutated as a result of Site-014's nuclear incident, RPC-739 can increase its size to a maximum height of approx. 180 meters when RPC-739 is inflicted with severe injuries. What's it's "normal" size, when not "damaged" (that seems poorly defined, too)? What's the size it shrinks to before becoming dormant?

Research analysis on residual radioactive material from RPC-739's radiological perimeter revealed that these dust particles contain a radioactive material that can survive in harsh environmental conditions.

What does "survive" mean in this context, when we're talking about inanimate materials? Like, does the dust survive in the cold where other dust… would do something else?

Why is it radioactive if it kills you for completely unrelated reasons anyway

What exactly is anomalous about this creature prior to the nuke, if it seems to conform to normal science at this point? Why would the authority contain this creature

In the aftermath of the fail-safe protocols at Site-014, that resulted in the destruction and obliteration of the facility and Authority assets, first responders on-location reported of an unidentified creature at a distant approximately thirteen miles from the blast zone.

Shouldn't this talk about how a massive, almost 2km tall creature was walking away from the impact zone more? I know we're supposed to assume this is what happened and why the authority knows it can grow so large, but it seems weird to leave out that the thing was colossal

On June 14, 0330 hours AM, seven RAH-66A Comanches equipped with the AF4C missiles and ground forces were deployed to RPC-739's location, and engaged RPC-739. Within 40 minutes, RPC-739 was successfully subdued was reportedly to decrease its size and back to its original form.

I sort of assumed this would be a story where the thing wandered all the way to canada before the natural temperatures shrunk it and everyone learnt of it's weakness that way, because as of right now there's… not really any explaination on how they knew it would shrink if it were cold, or why they just had ice missiles available? Let alone why it has an OL-site up in canada if it was shot down not far off from nevada and seems to be easily handled otherwise

Honestly I think this is savable pretty easily, but as it stands i'm really not into it

yeah this RPC could use some renovation in terms of the story and its abilities as right now its just kinda scp-682+Godzilla. Maybe there could be some other properties added to it and some more origin stuff.

This article is exemplary of the issues a lot of 2019-era pieces suffer from. You can just see what the idea for the article is on paper and it all sounds really cool, but when the author gets to it, the concept isn't carried to its conclusion. The sort of document-addenda formatting results in a narrative that feels fragmented and disconnected, with sub-stories being started and concluded in ways that don't feel natural to jump to the next part of the greater narrative.

This also results in parts of the anomaly and narrative being explored at a lightning-quick pace, without any chance to really see the world beyond what's on the very forefront. The addenda are there to show only the very specific thing the author wants to write, and they fold up as soon as that's over. No characters, no narrative, no worldbuilding.

Another recurrent issue is redundancy. Everything the article bothers to talk about has already been described at sufficient length in the Description and first addendum. What's the point of reading any further?
