Been a long time coming

How late is this? 7 months? Bah, it doesn't matter. I've finally posted something here and I'm quite proud of myself for it.

Thanks to JerryJohn and KaiserXI for criticizing this before it was up and hell, the entire RPC Community for giving me a uh, "warm" welcome to the community.

I found myself enjoying this! However I wonder why they allow the person to jump, I think that they would attempt to bind the person and ask them more questions.

This was an interesting read - I like the Tarot card references and I like the little philosophical monologues that RPC-402-A gives after being given the "right" answer.
However, I did not enjoy the fact that RPC-402-A's fate is always death.
I also feel like there could have been more tests done on RPC-402 instances - such as restraining them, or not allowing them to jump.

An intriguing premise let down by railroaded storytelling, nobody has any agency in this story, the anomaly forces them to do stuff. It would have been better if the RPC created the opportunity for this to happen and then the characters made the choices which led to their ends. The fact that nobody chooses to make any of this happen of their own free will robs it of any possibility of real impact.

Shit, got the chills IRL you damn idiot.

Tone wise and grammar wise it’s great, nothing fancy but it’s easy on my eyes (even at 4 AM).

The anomaly itself, I was rather confused about during the description, it sounded quite… average? Pretty cool, but I wasn’t expecting anything breakthrough. When I got to the addendum I realised what I was looking at. For a moment, I started asking those questions to myself, even; the final question is the one that hits the most to me, and it’s supposed to. I actually thought about it for a moment, what really is a man’s downfall? We don’t know it.

Yeah its a fun read. A little boring, but well written nonetheless. Very existential too, however, I am biased against such things.
