To date, the project of the Authority have attracted many readers in the Chinese-speaking communities. However, some of the Chinese readers don’t really have the ability to read the original English version of the articles on this site despite they are interested. Therefore, I think a Chinese translation site would allow all Chinese readers to learn about the Authority freely, and it could also help the project to be more well-known in the Chinese communities.
As for the details of the establishment of the translation site, there is already a group of people who is intended to develop a Chinese (translation) RPC site before I bring this proposal up here. After contacting them, I learned that one of them is willing to pay for the annual fee of the Wikidot site upgrade if a translation site is really going to be constructed. They have translators (including me) who are ready to or had already started to translate the basic guides and some of the RPCs into Chinese.
Apart from the translation section of this proposal, there is also something about creation. Part of the Chinese readers, they want to do more than just reading, they want to create their own RPCs, write their own tales of the Authority as well. Writing in English could be really hard for those whose mother tongue is other languages, especially for writing an RPC. Therefore, I would also like to ask: if a Chinese translation site is really permitted, is it allowed for its members to post their own articles (for example, CN-RPCs) onto it?
Everything above is basically my proposal, and all the questions I wanted to ask for now. I’m sorry if my words are confusing, because as you could probably already see that English is not my first language. If my words are not making sense somewhere, pleas point is out so I can correct or explain them.
