Description: RPC-XXX is an anomaly that infects instances of the American electronic robotic toys released in 1998 referred to as 'Furbies. end quote
RPC-XXX causes these instances of these toys to grow in continuous length when bought from an online store during delivery, with their necks growing upwards in length at a similar growth rate of Phyllostachys edulis.
I'd put the common name for this in a footnote or something, just for context.
RPC-XXX instances are only affected when they are sold anonymously on an online store or online auction websites.
The household was comprised of three families who were living together for Christman Christmas and New Year.
Within 2 weeks after, the family members that were gifted the RPC-XXX instances were found in their beds, dead of killed via strangulation from the RPC-XXX instances restricting their breathing capability.
The remaining residents reported the incident to the local authorities, the incident report was soon being received by the Authority add comma in which and was followed by a recovery team being dispatched to the household to contain the instances end sentence and Amnestics were administered to the remaining residents.
This is an interesting idea. Have you considered tying it to someone like Amazing! co? I think it would fit really well. Maybe add a product description like "New furbies, complete with REAL cuddling action!" or something like that.
Aside from that however, I would maybe add quarantine procedures if the creation of RPC-XXX instances spreads like a disease, it would be interesting to see how the Authority would deal with that.
Good work.
There is the rare occurrence of an RPC-XXX bringing itself to the location of the buyer when it's length has exceeded 15 meters, either due to being delivered to the wrong address and or being redelivered several times around the world.
Is it an anomalous site selling them (which is why they obscure the name on the package), or is that just an additional unrelated affect that occurs when any online seller has an infected furby from their inventory sold? If it's the latter i'm not sure why they do that, specifically.
PC-XXX causes these instances of these toys to grow in continuous length when bought from an online store during delivery, with their necks growing upwards in length at a similar growth rate of Phyllostachys edulis.
I don't think you can quote footnotes, but I think this a little bit of a clunky sentence. I'd just put "Bamboo" instead of a longer sentence about it. But also, that's way slower than these furbies grow so it might be better to just give a vague number anyway.
Overall it's a concept I like at it's core, second hand furbies that grow in length and can deliver themselves if they get large enough to be able to move, but I don't think there's enough that pulls this article together. Giving a vague or implied reason as to why they're growing would make the piece stronger and instead of making their purpose just "grow until you reach the home of your buyer, then strangle them" maybe giving them more of a unique purpose/goal? There's nothing that ties the disparate elements of "cursed second hand furbies", "ominious phrase covering their delivery boxes", "grows" and "kills you" together in a way that brings it all together and I think that's what needs to be nailed down to make it a good/interesting article.
Not to say what's there now is bad, but it's like a lot of interesting ingredients splayed out on a counter that just need a couple more steps to be made into something greater than the sum of their parts
Once removed of possession from their buyer, the instance will attempt to return back to the buyer under any non-violent means, a large number of instances will grow substantially in order to be long enough to reach their owners and instances.
Addendum-01: The first few RPC-XXX instances were discovered when the local authorities of a town in ███████ received a complaint from a landlord end sentence The landlord who had a resident who wouldn't pay his rent but also wouldn't respond.
This is a bit of a run on sentence.
Two police officers came by the apartment to check on the man, they knocked on the door add comma and but only hear heard muffled voices.
After waiting a few minutes, the police breaks broke down the door to only be welcomed in by three (3) instances of RPC-XXX spilling out into the hallway. Each instance was between 50-90 meters in length and blocked the way through the doorway.
I've been busy trying to maintain these guys. They can crawl all over your stuff so they broke a few stuff of mine. of my things.
I've just been told by the staff here that they're they've seen something crawling towards here in the distance. This test is definitely interesting, especially when you have the first person report a sighting of RPC-XXX. first hear about the sightings of RPC-XXX.
You can probably ignore this critique if you want. The sentence is fine really, but something about it bothers me.
Agest Agent ████ reported the thing floating in the sea water about an hour ago. I guess it will try to scale Site-001 soon.
RPC-XXX instance was measured once it was taken into containment, end sentence It measured approximately 6960 meters in length. No testing further needed.
I really like how you've improved on this article. It's much better than the original, and even has a really disturbing feeling to it. I especially like the little saying your name touch you added to the entities, that's really disturbing, and I love it.
My only question is do these things cause a person to like them, like what we saw in the interview, or was he just an odd guy?
Other than that, I really like what you've done with this, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Well done.
Hazards: Animated, Transmutation hazard. "hazard" should have a capital H, and remove the full stop/period.
Most instances have fur that is white, grey, or black in color.

Notes: "Ok,alright. Ok, alright. That was a long furby.

Notes: "Well, looks like the guys upstairs didn't like that idea. Risky they say, but I do want to see an instance of RPC-XXX swimming across the sea."
Apart from that, this is pretty nice! I like the imagery of a furby, instead of walking to its owner, growing to its owner. However, I do think you should have an explanation as to why the buyers are so chill with the fact that the furbies are growing in length. Maybe it has a psychological effect on them. Happy writing!
