The biggest sting of the article is the "using its caretaker's body" bit, and that was done much more effectively (albeit almost two years later) by RPC-945. If this is supposed to be scary or gross, it's just far too weak for either category.
I know I throw this complaint around a lot, but we get to the point in the first 4 paragraphs, and the addendum adds nothing. Well, besides making the article conclude on the flat note of "if the subject is separated early enough they can recover", which, uh… okay?
The writing starts out okay, but gets much sloppier in the addendum. It has a strange habit of capitalizing random words.
