In their eyes, just as in those of the Authority, mankind needs a guardian. Thoug they share this goal , the Custos Vitae seeks do destroy , not to understand and contain. They won't accept any threat to the human supremacy but seem to be too radical to understand that their actions could be a threat to all of mankind.
