This Is the first RPC I ever read because out of all of the RPCs it could have loaded, it loaded you on my page and I was immediately inspired, awesome stuff and this really shows me an example of what an RPC should look like when I begin to write.

Sapient RPC doing its purpose as a scarecrow, only for some (darn) kids to annoy it and became what is now. I find the concept good, even if scarecrows are overused in horror media. But what got me was its ability to communicate, that caught me off guard.
It also made me sympathetic to 650. Poor anomaly was just doing what it needed to.

Although, I have two questions:
-Who or what created it?
-And was it always hostile or did the kids triggered it?

Overrall, I'll give a 3.5 out of 5, until the author plans something new.

Compact, simple and attractive story which doesn't try to be anything it isn't. I did notice a plot hole though, if the farmer only cared about brats ruining his field, why is he killing indiscriminately based on fear? That's only a nitpick however.

I was really enjoying this until the anomaly started having casual conversation with people.

This thing would be scarier and more interesting if its sapience level and communication abilities were left unknown.

Come to think of it, a lot of RPCs tend to go south for me when the object is needlessly imparted with rational characteristics and a willingness to converse with personnel. I would like this better if it was just a creepy mute scarecrow with anomalous powers.

7 meters by 7 meters is way too big for a containment chamber (believe me, I've designed a chamber in CAD based on 5 by 5 meter measurements and it ended up being too big). 5 meters by 2.5 meters is large enough for a living space and wouldn't leave a bunch of empty space.

Not sure I like the way that reads, maybe it should be edited to something more like "Level 3 Clearance personnel" or "staff". The way it is now reads like talking about an RPG character.

Aside from this, it was a creepy article. I think the interviewer should have a name since reading a lot of black boxes is somewhat annoying, other than that good job.

The horror test sounds like something the MTF would call it as a nickname, it should be something along the lines of "Personnel Panic Reaction exam"
