ToonfulTunez Inc. seems to create these anomalous works to help/entertain humanity, but do to the chaotic anomalies they make, they prove to be unpredictable and unstable. Possibly causing damage to some degree.

GOI Name: Ascaron's League
GOI Description:
Basically, Florida has very permeable reality so Lovecraftian entities and anomalies like it there so it's a hub for them.

The Lovecraftian entities sometimes accidentally create cracks in reality, the Lovecraftian entities exist in between the cracks so most of the time when people see the cracks they'll become mad like the Miami bath salts zombie. But sometimes when exposed to these cracks, people get godlike powers due to absorbing all that lovecraftian energy from the cracks.

These floridinian gods then formed their own GOI (Ascaron's League), Ascaron is just the first recorded Floridinian god. Their main goal is protection of Florida from the Lovecraftian entities and anomalies. They have decent relations with the authority and like to cooperate with them in dealing with anomalies, but the gods are still a bit crazy, so the authority doesn't trust them that much.

I've planned out a whole storyline involving them, with articles filled with insane gods, florida men, weird nihil sects, giant crocodiles, and an epic final battle.

If you have a question on this GOI just DM me on discord, my discord username is HilariousDayofLove#1147

I revive this thread! This idea came to mind recently and I couldn't help but want to see what people think.

Order of Archangel Raphael the Mender

Effectively a foil to most of the current GoIs out there; as opposed to being oriented around profit, this chivalric order has split off from one of the older knightly societies; their MO revolving around more humanitarian means behind the curtain. Helping people affected by anomalies recover, combating malicious groups when they encounter them, so on and on. If the Authority puts out the house fire and prevents it from happening again, these guys would help fix it up. If they have the means at the time.

Ether International: T-03
Overview: The organization came to the Authority's attention by accident while investigating what was thought at the time to be an uncorrelated anomaly. Subsequently, Project Ether was formed and a more in depth analysis of the organization took place.
Ether International completely focuses on research, lacking any military presence anywhere in the world, the only form of armed personnel being the very light security of their research facilities. However, they still pose a tremendous threat to the Authority and its goals, being financed by world governments(much like the Authority is) they seek to see the us replaced.
Agents of this organization are rarely seen in the field; when the need arises they use outside contractors for operations and collection of any material they may need.
Authority agents are advised to avoid disputes with Ether personnel at all costs, as such actions may lead to the worsening of relations between the Authority and its financers.

I've been working on a sorta timeline for the Authority and have a couple of ideas, some already posted about but some i could definitely expand upon:

I'll leave out Ancient, Medieval and Renaissance ideas. While i have been looking at them, they don't directly tie into the Authority, but i;ll name them: Ancient Roman Vanguard with various Ancient cults to counter it, The Order of the Rampart Shields and Medieval Witches alongside creatures of folklore to counter it, the holy order of the vatican and a Protestant GOI to counter it.

There could be a Napoleonic GOI since Napoleon was active during the early 1800's when the Authority was created, and he was interested in the Anomalous.

Haven't got any GOI's for WW1 but maybe an anomalous Industry would work like Nucorp

WW2 there was a Psudo-scientific Nazi Think tank known as the Ahnenerbe, and to fit in, i created an Anomalous branch to it, the Anomalieerkennung. In the Timeline i'm proposing, they took over some sites in Europe but were unable to use too many anomalies due to an Emergency evacuation which transferred many RPCs to the US, specifically Site 2

The Cold war makes the creation of a US Anomaly Division (presumably incompetent due to inexperience) and USSR Anomaly division (same?), constantly going after Anomalies themselves creating alliances and rivalries each time.

Also i created a GOI outside of this proposal called the Institute of true art, ANY artform is allowed in this GOI, RPC-224 is the only article out about it right now.

Don't worry, it's not that there's a problem with the core idea, it's just a matter of putting it on the forefront. I think the name change fits nicely, and I think you can certainly have bones mixed in there. I mean, you're already dealing with carrion so I don't see why not.

Also, like I said, there's potential on the three realms aspect, so you can toy around with ideas such as: a side of the family that splits to attempt their own version of the doctrine, someone among them trying to resolve the percieved conflict of the realms, someone trying to give spirits back to reanimated corpses, stuff like that. It's ultimately up to you though, and I hope this helps!

Oh I get it, it's my fault for not making it clear. I kinda wanted my GoI to symbolize rotting flesh and creatures made from crudely stitched together flesh of varying species as opposed to skin rashes and disease. I don't see why I can't have an emphasis on bone as well since once the flesh is done rotting a skeleton is left behind. I can see why people would make the comparison, would people have a different impression if I changed it to "Descendants of Carrion"? The term meaning dead animals since I want the focus to be on undead animals since undead humans a.k.a zombies are too overused, plus undead animals make better minions in my opinion. If you want to write an RPC based on this GoI feel free.

I see what you mean, and I see that you frame it differently, it's just that sarkicism reads similarly, not that it actually is, seeing how you put things together from the perspective of "patchworking the dead", to put it that way.

It's a massive read, but the gist of it is this: sarkicism was born from a civil war that doomed the daevites through a revolution led by its holiest prophet, Grand Karcist Ion, who is said to have achieved apotheosis through the devouring of a god and was granted power over all flesh, able to summon and manipulate it at will, not just flesh but also disease and other flesh-related phenomena. Sarkicism spread thanks to Ion's archons who were granted his favor and some of his power, each creating their own customs and evolved over history, then split between proto-sarkites (those who adhere to previous tradition) and neo-sarkites (taking the power of flesh for personal gain and personal reasons). It features many anomalous living beings, typically anomalous fauna acting as symbionts for sarkites and/or deterrents for outsiders. They're currently engaged against the church of the broken god, but that's an entirely different subject.

Since the focus is placed on flesh, I hope that I illustrate my point about how people would begin to draw comparisons. I can see how the background for your organisation is different, as is the general doctrine, so I think focusing on the differences might create the gap needed.

I'm not really aware of Sarkism it never really interested me very much. Perhaps I should've made it clear that these people see more potential in the dead as opposed to the living and that they usually hang around graveyards and morgues. I made the crow deity because crows represent death and decay since they feed on the remains of the dead. Could you tell me about Sarkism and why this is similar?

I'd say you should give it a bit more thought on how to make it stand out since this reads too similar to the already existing sarkicism on the SCP foundation site. There's the religious aspect, the deity, and the manipulation of flesh, though the attempt on your part is there since you've added the idea of necromancy, but I believe that this will still inevitably bring some people to draw the comparison.

This isn't to discourage you, though, maybe expanding a bit more on the necromancy aspect might help. For example, since there's a core aspect of three realms, a specific sect that might focus bringing the three aspects together through anomalous means, attempting to resolve this seemingly endless conflict, or maybe someone got a little bit too innovative and discovered "spiritual mutations" so to speak.

As a massive nerd I adore this idea. Maybe they host anomalous anime/comic conventions in bizarre places the Authority can't find. For a potential name suggestion i'm thinking something Sci-Fi or Fantasy related like "The Guild of Imagination" or "Planet Fantasy." These are just suggestions so it's up to you. They would probably be T-02. I'm eager to write an RPC on this.

Here is a GoI I've had in mind since my SCP days
T-01: Descendants of Carrion, a religion tells of a mysterious wealthy family which once specialized in the art of necromancy; they claim to have had encounters with a terrifying god known as Carrios. Artistic depictions of Carrios portray it as a large crow with decaying tendrils protruding from its black feathers. According to documentation, the universe consists of three components, the realm of life, the realm of flesh and the realm of spirit. There is conflict between these realms due to the fact that the living must travel to the realm of spirit when they die thus leaving the beasts of flesh behind without a source of knowledge and power. Through the art of necromancy people can use discarded souls to power their abominations and control hordes of the undead. These powerful people claim to come from that rich family and seemingly have the anomalous ability to assemble beasts from rotting flesh and they want to make sure all of the deceased help them build their abominations instead of joining the spirits. They are fully aware of the Authority and their mission to obtain many of the undead beasts from their mythology thus they are a danger to the RPC and the world they protect. The Authority is currently on the search for "The Scion of Carrion" which is the head of the group and their presumed base "The House of the Carrion" a location which the family grew up in.
I hope you like this idea since I plan on writing an RPC about a DoC project to build a chimera from dead animal flesh.

T-01 GoI: Bonnie and Clyde

During the Great Depression, The RPC Authority had also suffered considerable setbacks to its monetary state, resulting in the withdrawal of its several assets across the United States. Bonnie Elizabeth Parker and Clyde Chestnut Barrow and its gang inadvertently ransacked several high-value assets, resulting in intervention by MSF team Lima-6 "Constables". After approximately one year of investigation, the bank-robbing sweethearts (along with most of their colleagues) were killed by Authority agents and law officers near Sailes, Bienville Parish, Louisiana on May 23rd, 1934.

A-01 GoI: Nucorp Industries

Founded in 1914 at the beginning of World War 1, Nucorp Industries has always strived for technological advantage over their competitors. They made the first nuclear fission reactor in 1939 to power their headquarters. They later sold the blueprints of the reactor to the US Government designated as Chicago Pile-1 in 1942. They achieved great success in the Atomic Age by selling various nuclear reactors (and even bombs) to every country that can pay the price. Nucorp Industries has supplied the Authority with its self-sustaining fusion reactor since 2016. They gave the Authority a gift consisting of a Musspellheim Class Battlecarrier in gratitude for our never-ending work defending humanity.

GOI Name: Central Intelligence Agency Directorate of Anomalous Studies
GOI Summary: The Directorate of Anomalous Studies (D.A.S.) is the classified sixth directorate of the CIA reasonable for intelligence collection on anomalous objects and events as well as other GOIs. Originally formed in 195█ as a response to the escalating tension of the cold war and concerns of the Soviet Union collecting and possibly utilizing RPC-like objects, the modern D.A.S. is involved in monitoring the activity of both major and minor groups that are involved with anything anomalous and managing information from the US government's other organizations dealing with anomalous objects. The D.A.S. has been known to utilize undercover operatives and sleeper agents though generally does not have the resources to engage in head-on confrontations with other GOIs. The D.A.S. rarely exchanges information with agencies outside the US government's jurisdiction, though it has been known to be corporative with The Authority as long it's actions do not conflict with those of other US organizations.

I don't think a Buddhist cult would believe something like certain actions leading to the end of the world or name itself after a concept that has nothing to do with Buddhism. Unless they are the crazy violent Buddhist that sometimes kill people of other religions in some parts of the world.

GOI Name: Ouroboros Club

Summary: A secret cabal between immortals and the few mortals whom they think would make good company, and who they groom to be immortals. May be responsible for some RPC that relates to immortality.

Immortality comes in many forms. Some members are biologically immortal, as in they will not die of natural causes. Some are 'jumpers', those whose mind/soul gets transferred to another body at the time of death. Some are Liches, in which they reform at a specific place after death. Some require sacrifices, of flesh, or blood, or money, or souls, or other esoteric substances to keep them alive for longer. But none have reached the fabled perfection of immortality, the one that survives the heat death of the universe.

That is why the Ouroboros Club exist. Not only to transform people's mortal coils to loop back on itself, but to make that loop truly endless, without petty requirements or attachments.

GOI Name: (Pending)

Summary: An anomalous company comprised of programmers, tabletop players, video game makers, writers and artists that have formed together to create products that appeal to their various interests. The group would be responsible for selling anomalous video games, tabletop games, comics, books, miniatures etc. There products are intended to be harmless and fun, but there'll be some unforeseen accidents or defective products out there as well.

A few ideas for them involve a mirror that lets you take on the appearance of your character reference sheet to improve immersion while playing or for cosplaying.

A videogame that teleports you into a digital world to take part in the adventure.(Kinda cliche I know) But you can actually bring back rewards from the game into the real world.

A comic book that reacts to outside stimuli and affects the story as you read. Poking the panel would make it shake, and carry the effect over to the next one. Dropping water on it, could flood a panel. And doodling in the comic, can have drastic effects, like adding new characters that adopt the comic's art style.

A bit more detail that me and Mr Aztec over at the discord fleshed out: make it be linked to the Third Secret of Fatima, in that the real Third Secret is to order the Vatican to create the group. To quote Mr. Aztec on the 'true' Third Secret's content: "In the coming days will be many strange Gifts of the Lord, and the Mother Church must gather these for the Day of Judgement and Fire."

GOI Name: Officium Anomaliarum Catholicæ
Summary: The Vatican's version of a collection group, that basically gathers anomalies associated with Christianity and the Catholic Church. Doesn't weaponize, but keeps very secretive and well-guarded, so would probably be a T-03, resisting authority efforts to contain stuff related to them, but fine with literally everything else, provided they don't interfere with Church functions.

I had an idea for a part of the US Government having it's own anomalous division, kinda like how china has one. Could make it go as far back to the Civil War if you wanted, or have an RPC event or story where the Union and Confederacy used anomalous items against one another, and the Union managed to pull through by their division being better skilled. I was having trouble with a name, however.
