I dunno, it seems too long for its own good. Other articles are as long, if not longer (Alma's "Arrow and the Flood" comes to mind, or Jokz' Wonderland) without dragging on like this one does.

The middle section is a lot of information about how the drug works that is only relevant within that section. You can- and I'm pretty sure almost everyone does- skip over the second offset and go to the last page without missing anything actually important or losing out on any important narrative beats besides a bunch of graphs.

Mostly just disappointed, I guess. If it was shorter, it'd have good reason to not go into extreme detail. But because you've got a three page article, you should have plenty of space to tie this together. But at the end, it's a lot of mystic threads and dead children. The latter wouldn't bother me so much if it wasn't for the fact that I'm a huge baby for that sort of thing and it seems to be for shock value.

You spell out how grim and awful this all is, but without anything grounding it it's just confusing, not impactful.

I'm worried I'm rating it low just to be contrarian, but honestly considering the amount of time it takes to parse this and the amount of talent that went into creating it, I'm not sure if this article has an excuse to drag on. 2 stars. It's acceptable.

Research Entry for Budget Cuts. Collaboration between Enigma and I. Hopefully enjoyable - there will be a follow-up for this in future surrounding what Project Morpheus and the City made of Trees are (it will be very much golden age sci-fi), but for now this will stand on its own.

Crit here: http://rpcauthority.wikidot.com/forum/t-14018006/rpc-xxx-the-resurrection-key

oh yeah starring graphs by Enigma, art by me, and a wikimedia commons petri dish.

EDIT: OK, I was dumb. I forgot to credit the folks who critted.

Special thanks to Coup, Crepes, and Rynox on the forums for giving us some great guiding feedback. Outside discord, special thanks to Spambot, Almar, and ESPECIALLY Kaiser for criting this bitch. Your advice collectively was instrumental and both Enigma and I really valued everything you lot sent our way.
