Hello, I'm Doc Auk, and I'm going to read an RPC article and then share my thoughts on it. Today, I read RPC-328:Pulse beats.
This one is about a disgruntled Academy of the True Arts student who makes a playback software that matches a person's heart rate to the beat of the song,
basically, imagine listening to the most intense death metal song, and your heart matches the beat of that song. I think we all know what happens next.

Eons ago I called RPC-644 "an absurdly plain KK article", and I found this to be the Academy equivalent. It's practically a template for the group: a slightly artistic object that kills you, complete with a cordial message from the Academy and a crude note from the murderous anartist.

The phenomenon itself is one of those simple "wouldn't it be cool if" ideas, though I concede it is, in fact, kind of cool. What's not cool is CSD torture! Seriously. Perhaps it was more normalized when this article came out, but that log is just cruel for no good reason.

It's not a bad object to have in canon, but this article is stale. Though I haven't read them all, I doubt this has anything to hold it above any other Academy anomaly, any other anomalous software, or any other Utility object. 2/5

There are some very interesting elements within this article. A short but very effective story was told here which I think cap this article off well. The test log had some interesting moments but overall it reinforces what we already know about the anomaly as the earlier addendum showed us the anomalies power. Regardless, I still think this was a very good article that while brief, does what it's trying to do in a very good way. 4/5

Very nice article, quite deadly in certain situations yet slightly helpful in others. I also like the aspect that this was created by a rogue Academy element. 5 stars for sure, I'm becoming more interested in the Academy with every article they're mentioned in.
