The anomaly lacks anything other than just its description and a scant mention to two immensely interesting story hooks of the lost hiker and the incident that led to three people killing each other unecessarily. The fact that this was avoided is a huge missed opportunity in one sense, but having read the dialogue and writing in a previous article of Hells' I can see why he avoided writing such a thing and safely say that it might have brought down the rating.

That being said, the explanation and Conprocs of the anomaly are as good as ever, making it feel like a genuine, if simple, document in the organization.

The idea could have been developed better. As it is, there is nothing more to be gained than some body horror and corporate conflict (which doesn't really go anywhere). Left a neutral taste in my mouth, and with art, that's a pretty bad thing.

2/5

The concept by itself isn't necessarily bad, but the article doesn't really develop it in any interesting way. We're told the water vapor in this cave either kills people or makes people become feral from bone tumors, and that NuCorp is conducting weapons tests with the anomaly, but there's no larger conclusions drawn about the nature of the anomaly itself. Is there anything deeper in the cave? Why does the water only affect human beings and not any other lifeforms? Can the water vapor be diluted into larger samples? Is the water itself anomalous or does the cave wall cause it to become that way? Overall, I think the article just needs some conceptual improvements.

Very detailed, I like it.

Tone and wording was fine and pleasant to the eyes. It’s one of those pretty articles, the ones that are very nice to even just look at, but maybe that’s just due to the NuCorp theme, which is very good looking. Either way, my main gripes are with the anomaly itself.

While the horror is delivered (and being body horror it’s a favourite for me) it strikes me as a love child of SCP-661, zombies and Dead Space Necromorphs; not saying it’s a bad thing, it’s good to be inspired, but the whole skin itching thing just made me go “am I reading 661?” and that’s no bueno.

3/5, but hey, for an article this short, it ain’t that bad.

It’s a fairly basic concept brought down by a lack of proofreading. And remove the addendum about weaponization. It’s both unprecedented and a dumb idea in-universe.

Necrotizing steam makes for a quite horrifying piece, good job on this one. Though I don't see why the third image would have to be partially redacted? The first two seem "gory" enough and yet are not redacted in any way.

Great execution on this one.

A bit too shocking pictures for my taste, but aside from that the body horror is very well delivered in your writing. I like this entry, you can clearly see the work you put into it.

A very well written execution and solid concept behind this entry, I am also a fan of medically themed RPCs and this one isn't the exception. I am quite pleased with the results, however some minor issues I feel the need to point out for the betterment of this already outstanding article:

1- Hemoptysis doesn't need to be capitalized, as it is a symptom and not a clinical entity per se.

2- As i told you before, neoplasia is an umbrella term meaning new tissue formation, used to designate cancerous tissue growth so it is kind of redundant to use neoplasia and osteosarcoma on the same sentence referring to them as different entities. My suggestion is to remove one of the terms, or just rewording it to "Continued progression of connective tissue neoplasms" since this way you cover other cancerous growths derived from connective tissue (which bone tissue is classified as).

3- The term necrosis is well used here, I would just add "extensive" before it.

Aside from these minor issues, this is an entry worth of the first 100 article spots.
