Critic's Corner

The Authority Critic's Corner

The Critic's Corner aims to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of site members who provide useful critique of article drafts by giving them the chance to share what they believe is the cream of the crop of our site content. Here's how it all works!

  • Before 10pm EST each Monday, all site users are invited to send crit to the Critic's Corner team, which is currently run by Von PincierVon Pincier, Prototype_ToasterPrototype_Toaster, and MinutemenMinutemen.
  • Only crit that is posted on the RPC Drafts forum or directly on articles themselves are accepted. Comments on articles and crit given on Discord are not permitted, including the RPC Sandbox forum.
  • We'll review your list of crit, and the person with the most thorough, detailed crit written by the end of the week becomes Top Critic until 10pm on the next Monday.
  • The Top Critic gets to pick one page on the site of their choice- any page at all, save for entries in events or contests whose voting period is currently open.
  • A link to this page, as well as the Top Critic's username, is added to the Critic's Corner on the sidebar for the week.
  • A site member can be Top Critic up to 3 weeks in a row. If no one applies, the Site Staff will choose an article.
  • A site member can choose to pass over being Top Critic, in which case the role will fall on the person with the second-most volume of crit.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to message any member of the Critic's Corner team.
